BEAUTIFUL AUDREY IN WATTERS BLUSH ILLUSION GOWN

Today, with this first blog post of 2018, I hope to bring back some summer warmth to you all lovely brides of 2018 and share a few photos of inspiration from this lovely, late summer wedding in 2017.

I want to congratulate those of you who recently got engaged, and welcome you to this read. If you are getting married in 2018, there is plenty to choose form and with 1 blog per week coming this year, be sure not to miss, and visit us often. we will be sharing with you tons of inspiration form our real brides, and tell you all about latest trends, know-how and post a few stunning shootings we have in the pipeline! so stay curious, and stay connected 🙂

Our first very lovely bride to be featured on this blog is Audrey, and she totally fell in love with Watters illusion gown in blush hues, and lovely tulle skirt, with some intricate lace-like beading on the bodice.

The wedding took place in the green scenery of medieval castle Grandson, located between Lake Geneva and Neuchâtel, in canton Vaud.

The decoration was absolutely lovely, and kept in the neutral tones, the palette of white, gold, green and brown was chosen, to compliment the natural colours of scenery.  A touch of candlelight chosen to add ambience and romantism to the table setting for guests.

the choice of the delicate white roses, the olive tree branches and the gypsophila is very nature-based and adds warmth with keeping the wedding decor timeless.

and of course there was of love, hugs, smiles, kisses and beautiful moments for a very talented Julie to take a good amount of beautiful wedding pictures. Just as well, as we just adore sharing them with you dear readers.

the same theme of floral design is incorporated in to the bridal flowers and the bridesmaids too, with them having the flower crown and bracelets done ….. and just look at those details on the wedding dress, completely in love

the planner session at the beach,  shoes off , and lots and lots of love !

true love between this two lovely people 🙂

JENNY IN AUGUSTA JONES, AT PORTES DES IRIS, FAIRYTALE WEDDING

Once again we would love to congratulate our beautiful bride.

Jenny is a very discreet, adorable, pretty and warm person. During the appointments at the boutique, and after trying a good number of dresses with us, we found the one! the one that makes Jenny’s heart pop, her face smile and eyes shine a million stars 🙂

The final choice was a dress named ISLA from the collection of our British designer Augusta Jones. The soft mermaid dress, made of corded lace and decorated with soft sequins to bring some glow to the overall look. Our adorable couple got married in Autumn, almost winter month of October in breathtaking scenery of Pores des Iris, an old renovated farmhouse whit stunning gardens and lake view, near Morges and Lausanne.

We had a great pleasure to share these precious moments with our couple, and to add a touch of our help to their wedding.

Once again, a big congratulations and lots of happiness for your future!

Warmly,

Team Belle en Blanc

5 Wedding Dress Shopping Tips

#1: Shop nearby!

Choose a shop that’s is either conveniently located next to your work place or to your home. It’s not just about the purchase, it is also about the fittings and if you live in Lausanne, maybe it’s not convenient to fly all the time to London…

#2: Limit your number of visits

Ever heard of dress overdose? The brain can only handle a few options at a time, so do yourself a favor and limit it to one or two shops so you can use all your brain power in choosing dresses and not shops.

#3: Do your research and use event to your advantage

Keep an eye on your local boutique event’s and make sure you rsvp to all their sample sales, trunk shows and discount events. You never know when you can save money for your special day.

#4: Quality has a price

If your dream dress is from this year’s collection of a very well-known designer, don’t expect it to be discounted. Also, don’t expect to find quality on a very low price. Try to find a balance between price, quality and your dreams.

#5: Boutique Fees

More and more boutiques are charging clients for the appointments. It’s a way for them to better segment their clients and to give a value to the consulting service they provide. Good boutiques will refund this value when you order the dress and leave you feeling confident, happy and informed.
