We have just returned from our collection buying trip in London, where we have met with Caroline Castigliano personally in her beautiful Knightsbridge boutique. We had a lovely chat and saw some stunning gowns made by Caroline, but above all we discussed how her dresses are made to give the understated glamour, elegant and luxurious look that all brides want.
We noticed that in today’s bridal industry there is just so many cheap copies of beautifully crafted, handmade designers gowns, that for a future bride it might be difficult at first to spot the difference. Caroline uses finest silks and laces from worldwide known fabric designers, and it just makes all the difference combined with Caroline’s signature corsetry, which made her brand move to the top of bridal industry for decades now.
When Sadina walk to the boutique, it was getting close to 17h and i was about to close for the day, and had home. But the enthusiasm and great energy that i felt from the bride and her sister and friends were so positive, that i decided to run the appointment anyway (a date with my husband will have to wait a bit longer…)
Sadina knew the boutique via her sister, who just got the job in the same building as Belle en Blanc, and as it turned out, they were all the way around Lausanne desperately looking for the dream dress, and in desperation her sister finally proposed coming to us. As it later turned out, the dream was just under the nose 🙂
We started the appointment with some very beautiful dresses, but Sadina wanted to have a very sexy, stylish dress. When we put on Megane by Augusta Jones the choice was the most natural and obvious and also applauded by all parties immediately. We have found THE ONE, and Sadina looked absolutely stunning. One small tweak to the neckline to provide slightly more cleavage and the star was born.
When the dress arrived a few months later, and Sadina came to do her fitting, we had absolutely nothing to do as the dress fitted perfectly :)!
The big day arrived and the bride looked absolutely STUNNING!! We had to wait slightly longer then anticipated for the photos, but nonetheless the result is amazing, and it was worth the wait.
The wedding took place in Montreux in September 2015, and was photographed by Jessica Amber Photography.
Today we are so thrilled to introduce to you another happy Belle en Blanc bride, Manon, who got married in May 2015, in the region of Neuchatel.
When i met Manon, we immediately had a very good connection, and very quickly found the dream gown she was looking for, although didn’t realise that Anita is going to be The One. Manon came accompagnied by her 2 sisters and the most warm, charming and loving grandmother any girl can dream off.
We met again two weeks after to confirm the choice, but the heart wants what the heart wants, and Anita was the obvious winner and the only choice really. Manon looked and felt amazing on her wedding day, and the famous now dress by Augusta Jones really enhances her feminine shape, whilst keeping the overall bridal look effortlessly elegant to fit her bohemian style, romantic wedding 🙂
Have a look for yourself. I send my big kiss to Manon and her bridesmaids, who also were tremendously stylish, wearing our collection of multi-wrap bridesmaids gowns in Mint colour.
hello there… we’ve been quiet, but extremely busy for past months, but we have some Very Special news and announcements to share with all our lovely brides who already got their dresses for next year, as well as all our future brides, who booked in for appointments. Shhhh…. you have to be a little patient, and let us finalise some details, but fits, we are uuber excited to share with you the results of our absolutely breathtaking Winter Wedding Inspiration Shoot we had a pleasure to participate some time ago.
One of our good friends, Lucie from Bliss Wedding and Events Designer, called in with this fantastic idea for winter wedding inspiration. We met, and things immediately started falling into place: the dress was a must to be this stunning Caroline Castilgiano “BeLoved” silk organza and handmade cotton beaded lace, with full skirt and stunning back detail! This was a perfect choice for the winter wedding celebration, and our brides love that gown- its a true stunner and show stopper not only for winter wedding.
We feel that with bridal season and fashion changing so quickly, this Winter Wedding Inspiration will truly show a lot of brides just how much fun and individuality you can create around winter season. The choice of beautiful hotels and locations is never ending in the Swiss Alps, and we, at Belle en Blanc have been seeing increasing number of ladies, who dont want a traditional summer wedding, and are opting for fun, white winter fun with cosy scenery of fireplace and very often Christmas ambiance in mountain locations!

Big thanks to the Alpina Hotel and Spa in Gstaad for eagerly agreeing to our shooting. For any bride, this place is truly a bridal paradise 🙂
